Effective 15 August 2026
These are the full legal terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, and Creator Rights is the short version of what we do and never do with your work — written to be understood, and we hold ourselves to it.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Corbus AI, LLC (“Corbus AI, LLC”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the C.I.N.E.M.A. platform, its websites, applications, APIs and embeddable widgets (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. Our Creator Rights statement summarises key commitments in plain English; where it and these Terms differ in detail, these Terms govern, and nothing in these Terms is intended to reduce the substantive promises made there.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and you must provide an accurate date of birth. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf, and you may not purchase credits, hold a subscription, or take part in the placement marketplace yourself.
Mature-content features require a verified date of birth confirming you are 18 or older. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it, and “you” includes that organisation. We may refuse, suspend, or withdraw access where eligibility cannot be established.
C.I.N.E.M.A. is an AI-assisted filmmaking platform. It helps you develop a story, adapt a book or screenplay, generate characters, locations, images, video, dialogue, music and 3D assets, assemble them into a finished film or trailer, and optionally publish or distribute the result.
The Service depends on third-party AI providers and infrastructure. Features, models, pricing and capabilities change as those providers change. We may add, modify, or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you have paid for, we will act reasonably to make it right, including by refunding unused credits attributable to that feature.
Some features are labelled preview, beta, or experimental. These are provided without warranty of any kind and may be changed or removed at any time.
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at info@corbus.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
Do not share, sell, or transfer your account. One person or organisation per account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
The Service is metered in credits. Credits are a prepaid unit of access to computing resources; they are not money, not a security, not a deposit, and have no cash value outside the Service.
Subscription credits are granted with each billing period and expire at the end of that period; they do not roll over. Top-up credits — whether purchased, earned through referrals, or granted — are valid for 12 months from the date they are added to your account. Subscription credits are consumed before top-up credits, and top-up credits are consumed soonest-expiring first, so no bundle expires while a newer one sits unused. Each purchase or grant is tracked as its own bundle with its own expiry date; your billing page shows the next expiry. We may contact dormant accounts to remind you that a balance is waiting.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout and in your billing panel, until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period; we will not obscure or delay cancellation. Payments are processed by Stripe, and their terms apply to the payment transaction.
Refunds. Where a generation fails because of a fault on our side, the credits for that generation are refunded to your balance automatically. Beyond that, you may request a refund of a purchase within 7 days provided the credits from that purchase are unused; we will honour that without argument. Credits already spent on completed work are not refundable, because the underlying computing cost has been incurred. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.
Prices quoted before you commit to a priced action — such as adapting a book, importing a script, or generating a 3D asset — are the amount charged for that action. Ongoing pipeline work is metered as it runs, and estimates shown for it are estimates, not fixed quotes.
Credits are not transferable between accounts. Where the Service describes credits moving between users — a donation to a creator, or a sponsor funding a product placement — the sending user’s credits are consumed and we separately grant new credits to the receiving user. No card, code, balance, instrument or stored value passes from one person to another, and credits can never be redeemed for cash by anyone.
Those movements draw only on purchased top-up credits, never on the monthly subscription allocation, and both parties must hold a CINEMA account. Anonymous or non-account funding is not offered.
You are responsible for applicable taxes. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension while the dispute is resolved.
“Your Content” means everything you upload (manuscripts, scripts, images, audio, video, reference material) and everything you generate using the Service (“Output”).
You own Your Content. As between you and us, you retain all rights you hold in material you upload, and we assign to you whatever rights we may hold in the Output you generate. You may use, sell, licence, distribute, and commercially exploit your Output without payment or permission from us.
Collaboration. If you invite others to work on your project, you own the Output they generate in it, on the same terms as Output you generate yourself. If you accept an invitation to someone else’s project, the Output you generate there belongs to them, and you grant them the rights needed for that. This applies even where you spend your own credits — paying for a generation buys the compute, not a share of the film. Your own projects remain entirely yours.
We do not train AI models on Your Content. We do not use your manuscripts, scripts, characters, images or footage to train, fine-tune, or improve machine-learning models, whether our own or a third party’s.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, adapt and process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you — including transmitting it to the third-party processors that perform generation on our behalf. This licence exists only to run the Service, and ends when you delete the relevant content, except for backup copies that expire on our ordinary retention cycle and material we must retain by law.
If you publish work to The Green Room or another public surface, you additionally grant us a licence to display, stream and promote that published work while it remains published. You may unpublish at any time.
Uploaded source text used for adaptation is discarded once the adaptation is produced. You may ask us to delete any content you have uploaded by writing to info@corbus.ai.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, consents and licences for everything you upload, and that our processing of it will not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
This matters most for adaptation. Do not upload a book, screenplay, or other work you do not have the right to adapt. Where the Service asks you to confirm you hold those rights, that confirmation is a representation you make to us and on which we rely.
Do not upload a real person’s likeness, voice, or performance without their documented consent, and do not use the Service to create material that depicts a real, identifiable person in a false or misleading way.
You may not use the Service to create, upload, or distribute material that: is unlawful; sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way; depicts non-consensual sexual conduct or intimate imagery; harasses, defames, or incites violence or hatred against a person or group; infringes intellectual property; impersonates a real person or entity deceptively; facilitates fraud or deceptive political manipulation; or violates the terms of any third-party provider we rely on.
You may not attempt to circumvent metering, credit limits, safety filters, or access controls; reverse engineer or scrape the Service; resell access without a written agreement; or use the Service to build a competing model or dataset.
We may use automated and human review to enforce this section. Material breaches may result in removal of content and suspension or termination of your account.
Output is generated by machine-learning systems. It may contain inaccuracies, unintended resemblances, or artefacts, and similar prompts by different users may produce similar results. We do not warrant that Output is unique, non-infringing, or suitable for any particular purpose.
The legal status of AI-generated material, including whether and to what extent it attracts copyright protection, varies by jurisdiction and is evolving. We make no representation about the protectability of your Output, and you are responsible for clearing your intended use — particularly for commercial release, broadcast, or festival submission.
You are responsible for reviewing Output before you publish or distribute it.
The Service relies on third parties, including OpenAI, fal.ai, ElevenLabs, Tripo, Bunny.net and Stripe, to perform generation, storage, delivery and payment. Your Content may be transmitted to those providers strictly to produce the work you requested. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and policies.
Optional integrations you connect — such as publishing to a video platform or ordering a physical print of a 3D model — are provided by third parties under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, pricing, or fulfilment.
Work you publish publicly may be moderated, age-gated, or removed if it breaches these Terms. We will tell you why.
The product placement marketplace lets a sponsor with a CINEMA account fund a creator to feature a product in a film, using purchased top-up credits. When an offer is made the sponsor’s credits are consumed; on acceptance we grant the creator an equivalent number of new credits; if the offer is declined or expires unaccepted after the period stated in the app, we grant the sponsor’s credits back. Nothing passes between the parties and no cash changes hands through us. We take no commission. We are not a party to, and do not guarantee performance of, any arrangement between sponsor and creator; the creative decision remains the creator’s, and disclosure obligations for sponsored content rest with the parties.
The Service itself — software, models we develop, pipelines, interfaces, documentation, and the C.I.N.E.M.A. and Corbus AI names and logos — remains our property. These Terms grant you no rights in it beyond the right to use the Service.
Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or obligation.
If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, write to info@corbus.ai with: identification of the work; identification of the material and where it appears; your contact details; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorised to act; and your signature.
We will investigate, may remove material, and will terminate repeat infringers.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or others. Except where we are legally prevented, or where notice would enable further harm, we will give you the reason and a means to reach a human.
On termination, unexpired top-up credits will be refunded on request where the termination was not the result of your breach. We may delete your content after a reasonable period; export what you wish to keep.
Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that generation will always succeed, that third-party providers will remain available, or that Output will meet your expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your breach of the warranties in section 7.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Before filing a claim, contact us at info@corbus.ai so we can try to resolve it directly.
We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). Our takedown and counter-notice procedure, and the contact for our Designated Agent, are published at /dmca. On receipt of a compliant notice we will remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the account that posted it.
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, stop using the Service and request a refund of unused top-up credits.
